Hilarious Baseball Moments
Baseball is a great game for so many reasons. These videos are some wild, rare, or hilarious moments that happened on the baseball field.
I hope they make you laugh because, as they say, laughter is the best medicine!
This first video caught me totally off guard. I think you’ll enjoy this:
So that team in yellow is called the Savana Bananas. They’re like the Harlem Globe Trotters of baseball.
Baseball Magic Trick (The look on the hitter’s face! 😂)
Yes, a pitcher really did this in a college baseball game. Any idea if this is legal???
So this happened…
A funny moment that may never happen again in the history of baseball
Major League baseball players fall for “The Hidden Ball Trick”
In my baserunning video, I said “make sure you know where the ball is at all times”
THIS is why.
How to do the hidden ball trick
Based on these videos, it seems like there are 2 major tips for pulling the hidden ball trick:
- Alert the umpire to what you’re doing.
- The pitcher can’t be on mound
Have YOU ever tried the hidden ball trick on somebody? Did it work? If you have a story, or a tip, I’d love to hear it in the comments
On Field Wizardry
When amazing athletes get themselves into weird situations, you never know what’s going to happen…. behind-the-back flips, incredible Hacky sack saves, shovel flips, and more.
Before you watch this video… I have a question for you.
What do you do if you make a play, but the baseball GETS STUCK in your glove webbing?
Well, you’ll see it happen a few times in this video. The answer might seem like common sense, but it’s worth bringing up… just so that if ever happens to you, you can stay as calm as these guys did.
Those behind the back flips and shovel passes are a good reminder to that baseball players need to stay athletic and enjoy the game. If you’re practicing on your own in your yard, or coach if you want to end practice on a fun note, don’t be afraid to practice these types of “non routine” plays. Just have fun with it!
Have you ever made a non-routine play in a baseball game? If so, was it something you had practiced before?
